By downloading and using Boody you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The service

Boody is an iOS app that lets you enter expenses manually and track your monthly budget. You can optionally create a “household” and share your budget with a partner, housemate or team.

Important: Boody is not a bank, payment institution or investment adviser. It does not connect to your bank, does not move money, and does not provide financial, investment, legal or tax advice. All figures and projections are based on data you enter; your decisions are your own responsibility.

2. Your account

No account is needed to use the app alone; cloud sync and shared budgets require one.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your password safe.
You are responsible for actions taken by anyone using your account.
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete my account.

3. Shared budgets

When you invite someone to a household, they can see, edit and delete all budget and expense records in it. Share the invite code only with people you trust. Giving household members access to your data is your own choice.

4. Premium — price, renewal, cancellation

Using Boody on your own is free. Sharing your budget with someone else (a shared household) and keeping more than one budget space require premium.

Prices vary by country; the price that applies to you is shown at purchase. Prices may change — if an existing subscription price increases, Apple notifies you in advance and asks for your consent.
Subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
A subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
To cancel: on your iPhone, Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase.
Refunds: all purchases are handled by Apple; refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. The developer cannot issue refunds directly.
The “lifetime” plan is a one-time purchase valid for as long as the app is published; it is not a guarantee of perpetual service.
You can move your purchases to a new device with “Restore purchases”.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use the app for unlawful purposes.
Reverse engineering, extracting source code, circumventing security measures, and placing automated or excessive load on the service are prohibited.
Attempting to access someone else's data without permission is prohibited.

Breaking these rules may result in your account being suspended or closed.

6. Data and backups

Backing up your data regularly is your responsibility. Deleting the app removes the local data on the device. Cloud sync is not a guarantee of availability; no liability is accepted for data loss.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”. It is not guaranteed to run uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, no liability is accepted for indirect damages, lost profits, lost data, or decisions you make based on figures in the app. In any case, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the last 12 months.

These terms do not remove consumer rights granted to you by law.

8. Changes and termination

Features may change, be added or be removed. These terms may be updated; continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the new terms. If the service is discontinued entirely, reasonable notice is given and you are given a way to export your data.

9. App Store terms

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple's standard licence agreement also applies; where it conflicts with these terms, the minimum terms of Apple's agreement apply. Apple is not a party to this agreement and is not responsible for the app.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. For questions and notices: boody@obalabs.app

11. Languages

These terms are published in Turkish, English, German and Spanish. If the translations conflict, the Turkish text prevails.
